Meet the Central Team

Louise Gohr (Chief Executive Officer, CEO)

With qualifications in B Ed (Hons), NPQH and a Level 7 Executive Coaching Certificate, Louise has been a teacher, a Deputy Headteacher and most recently a Headteacher for over ten years. During her career, she has worked alongside the Local Authority in a number of different roles including as a Primary Strategy Literacy Consultant supporting and developing teaching and learning, and as an STA moderator. Louise is currently working with the Local Authority on a number of initiatives related to improving the quality of education for young people, including Raising Attainment in Disadvantaged Youngsters (RADY).

She has been CEO of Chancery Trust since 2020 and is passionate about growing our family of schools and doing the best for ALL pupils within the trust.

Katy Jodrell (Chief Financial Officer, CFO)

Katy is a part-qualified Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (England and Wales). She has extensive experience working in Multi Academy Trusts.  At Chancery, Katy has full responsibility for all financial and payroll operations across the trust.

Jenny Whiston (Governance & Compliance Lead)

Jenny has worked as a School Business Manager for 15 years, and has experience of primary, secondary and special schools, both maintained and academies. She believes passionately in continuous improvement and holds qualifications in School Business Management, Health & Safety, Human Resources and Governance.

Having previously performed the role of Clerk and Company Secretary, she has strong knowledge of MAT governance and works closely with the Board of Trustees and Local Governors.  She also supports the schools with achieving compliance with a wide range of statutory and regulatory obligations.

Julie Richardson (School Business Lead)

Julie has worked as a School Business Manager for over 15 years, and has experience in both Maintained and Academy Primary schools. She holds a certificate in School Business Management which she achieved in 2008.

Her role within Chancery Multi Academy Trust includes supporting the CEO and school office teams.  She also oversees the onboarding of new schools and manages any joint procurement and tendering processes, looking at office efficiencies and procedures within the trust to make sure every school is achieving best value.
